ILD Masterclass 2026: Dr. Sheetu Singh to Highlight Antigen Identification in Hypersensitivity Pneumonitis

Accurate assessment, imaging interpretation, identification of potential disease-related factors, and interdisciplinary discussion can all be crucial in the difficult field of interstitial lung disease (ILD) in respiratory medicine. Bringing several of these themes onto one academic platform, RHL & the state Chapter of ICS are organising an ILD Masterclass in Jaipur on 22 August 2026. The masterclass will take place from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM at Holiday Inn, 22 Godam Circle, Jaipur. Early ILD recognition, diagnostic pitfalls, HRCT imaging cues, hypersensitivity pneumonitis, antigen identification, and multidisciplinary case discussion are just a few of the key subjects covered in the program’s sequence of concentrated academic sessions.

As mentioned in the official programme, registration for the ILD Masterclass is free and mandatory.

Dr. Sheetu Singh’s Role in the ILD Masterclass

In the academic program, Dr. Sheetu Singh plays a significant role as both a moderator and a speaker for one of the important sessions. According to the event brochure, Dr. Sheetu Singh holds an MD in Respiratory Medicine and FRCP (Edinburgh) and is the Director of RHL Lung Center, Jaipur. Her participation in the program goes beyond moderation because she will facilitate a concentrated discussion on a crucial aspect of hypersensitivity pneumonitis. Her scheduled academic session is titled:

Antigen Identification & Avoidance in Hypersensitivity Pneumonitis

The session, which is a crucial component of the organized ILD masterclass schedule, will take place from 8:40 PM to 9:00 PM.

Focus on Hypersensitivity Pneumonitis

Hypersensitivity pneumonitis is one of the main topics covered during the evening, with Dr. Sheetu Singh’s talk focusing especially on antigen recognition and avoidance. In the context of hypersensitivity pneumonitis, the topic highlights two distinct components: identifying a potential antigen and thinking about avoiding it. By dedicating a focused session to this subject, the programme adds a disease-specific component to a broader evening of ILD-related discussions.

The hypersensitivity pneumonitis debate, which is scheduled following sessions on early ILD detection and HRCT imaging cues, adds an additional viewpoint to the masterclass’s academic flow.

From ILD Recognition to Imaging-Based Insights

The ILD Masterclass has a set program that starts at 7:00 PM with an ILD Quiz and lasts until 8:00 PM. Following the quiz, the programme moves into a session from 8:00 PM to 8:20 PM focusing on:

  • Recognizing Early ILD: Avoiding Diagnostic Pitfalls

The significance of early detection and the difficulties that can occur throughout the diagnostic process are discussed. From 8:20 PM to 8:40 PM, the focus shifts toward imaging with:

  • HRCT Pearls: Imaging Cues that Change Diagnosis and Management

This section of the programme places attention on HRCT imaging cues and their relevances to diagnostic and management decisions. After that, from 8:40 to 9:00 PM, the program shifts to Dr. Sheetu Singh’s lecture on antigen identification and avoidance in hypersensitivity pneumonitis.

When taken as a whole, these sessions produce a progression through identification, diagnostic considerations, interpretation of imaging, and a targeted conversation on hypersensitivity pneumonitis.

Multidisciplinary Thinking Takes Centre Stage

The Live Multidisciplinary Discussion, which takes place from 9:00 PM to 9:45 PM, is another significant aspect of the event. The discussion carries the title:

“One Patient, Many Perspectives”

This live multidisciplinary session will be moderated by Dr. Sheetu Singh.

The program goes beyond individual presentations and ends with a patient-focused conversation involving many professional viewpoints, which makes the format very noteworthy. The main idea of viewing the same patient from several perspectives is reflected in the title itself.

The discussion provides a natural conclusion to the academic sessions by bringing together several themes addressed earlier.

An Evening Dedicated to Focused ILD Education

The ILD Masterclass 2026 is structured around a brief academic program lasting three hours. After an interactive ILD quiz, there will be targeted discussions on hypersensitivity pneumonitis, HRCT interpretation, illness detection, diagnostic pitfalls, and multidisciplinary discussion. Within this programme, Dr. Sheetu Singh’s session adds particular emphasis to antigen identification and avoidance in hypersensitivity pneumonitis.

Her role is also linked to the program’s broader academic goal through her further participation as a moderator of the multidisciplinary conversation. Instead of focusing on a single facet of ILD, the masterclass covers a variety of topics in a single structured evening, enabling the conversation to go from early identification and imaging indicators to disease-specific issues and, ultimately, to a multidisciplinary patient discussion.

Mark the Date: 22 August 2026

Participants interested in Interstitial Lung Disease and associated respiratory topics will find a concentrated academic environment in the next masterclass.
